Live, love, laugh!

It is important for you to feel comfortable with the person who is to marry you and so I would like to tell you a little about me.

I grew up in Brisbane but in my early 20’s, I headed overseas to broaden my horizons and experience different cultures – and of course, to have fun!

Since returning to Brisbane I have worked as a senior social worker within the health field. This has enabled me to develop excellent organizational and time management skills as well as fine tuning my public speaking skills. These skills have been invaluable in delivering wedding ceremonies with confidence and poise.

I was recently awarded a Churchill Fellowship to enable me to travel overseas to further my studies. The Fellowship was a life changing experience and cemented for me the importance of hearing people’s life stories and reaffirmed the importance of connection with those you love.

Meet Rod . When we married in 2005 we chose a celebrant to marry us. As the saying goes “one doesn’t know what one doesn’t know”. I now appreciate how experience makes all the difference. I have now married hundreds of couples and consider this has been invaluable. Rod attends most weddings as a support to me so that I remain relaxed and totally focused on your wedding. He is there to help out with music when needed and ensures the PA system is working well.

Meet Abbie and Bruce – my much loved ‘grandkids’. As you can see I am an animal lover and have been known to spoil these beautiful dogs. As we all know, life is about balance and I try to ensure that I make time for fun and laughter in my life. Yoga…. Walking on the beach…..movies.. ..reading are all important parts of my life. It is often hard to choose a celebrant. Please hear from those who have used my services. More testimonials are available on request.
